Bryan: PLEASE DO NOT SEEK THIS GEOCACHE ANY LONGER. I am sorry but I have to archive GCW3RV. We received the following email from the General Manager of the Hampton Inn:
"For the past several months, people participating in "Geocaching" have
parked on my property, walked around several times, and when the
"coast was clear", stuck one of your containers in the guardrail on
our property. This was first brought to our attention by guests who
thought it was odd and were concerned for their safety (think about it
for a second, people walking around and sticking a container in a
guardrail - how would that look to you?).
After repeated attempts to stop this with notes from both us AND the
Anne Arundel County police department, these actions have continued.
You are trespassing on private property and are not welcome to use
these hotels (Residence Inn & Hampton Inn) for this activity. This is
my last form of communication regarding this before we pursue legal
action and therefore request that you cease and desist IMMEDIATELY. .
Should you wish to continue these activities, I suggest you use public
facilities - not private property."
