Geocache Description:

Easy little pub quiz intended as a bit of fun for all

The above are coordinates for parking at the back of the Rose & Castle pub on Main Road, Ansty, Coventry. Behind the pub is a lovely grassed area where grown ups can sit and enjoy the real ale served inside, whilst watching the children play on the super play area. There are ducks and swans on the canal too so don’t forget to take something to feed them.

The cache is hidden at N52 AB.CDE, W001 FG.HIJ.

A – How many points is the letter ‘G’ worth in scrabble?
B – How many inches high is a net for lawn tennis? (3B)
C – The number of different colours in the Russian Flag plus the number of James Bond films starring Pierce Brosnan as 007
D – Journey to the Centre of the Earth was published in English in 18D4
E – Marilyn Monroe’s last film was The Misfits, but in what year was it released? (196E)
F & G – Number of fluid ounces in a gill (British Imperial measurements) plus the century in which the Crimean War took place (FG)

Once you have the coordinates leave the grassed area via the Canal Bridge then walk along the towpath under the bridge. It can get muddy once you leave the canal towpath, especially as you get closer to the cache.
