Short dash through a pine wood. Lots of tree branches, stumps and pine cones everywhere, no real paths so watch your step.
This wood was a favourite of my mum's when I was young. Every winter we'd be up here for pine cones to use in Christmas decorations. I've seen deer but many years ago and not sure if they're still around. This is a lovely short walk, you'll be amazed how quickly the car disappears.
The cache is themed (as you may have guessed) so bring a book and take a book. Any small people will enjoy re-hiding the box for you. Cache is large tupperware with over a dozen books to choose from.
