The gold coast of South Australia.
Once upon time you could get life tenure from the lands department, for your very own piece of the high tide line, at a peppercorn lease. You then built a shack/hut/humpy with dirt floor, no glass windows, and a long drop. Euchre championships by candle light. Hot water was for making tea, and the kero fridge was god.
Now it is freehold, and will cost you $500,000+ for a piece of the action. The triple garages are bigger than most of the original abodes.
There are no meter maids here. High rise is just two stories. And the living is easy.
Follow one of the well marked walkways to the cache. This is not a driveby, you do not have to bush bash.
