Geocache Description:

It is possible to get to this cache from Mt Cargill, Bethunes Gully or from the track past the Organ pipes. There is some climbing from each direction but the shortest way is from Mt Cargill. As this it is high and exposed where the cache is I suggest warm windproof clothing is taken as the wind chill factor can induce hypothermia very quickly.

Looking up here from North East Valley as kids we used to call Mt Cargill the Sleeping Maori. We were not very PC back then. The cache is located on the head (Butters Peak) of this figure beside the nose. The tor nearby looked as though it was a cigarette butt in the mouth.
It is worth taking a camera as the views from here are spectacular.
The cache is a 1.15 litre camo painted snap lock container hidden at ground level and not visible from any distance.
