Most people have heard of constellations such as Orion the Hunter,
Gemini the Twins, etc. But even some professional astronomers have
not heard of the constellation Geureka the Geocacher.
In Greek mythology, Geureka was a mortal who, like Adonis, was
born from a hollow tree; he spent much of his time wandering in
forests looking for treasures. He was cast into the heavens for
trespassing in Athena's sacred forest. According to some
manuscripts, the ancient Greeks thought that if one was searching
for something hidden, gazing at the constellation Geureka could be
helpful. (The ancient Greeks had some really silly beliefs.)
As you can see, that's his head at the top, and on the left he's
holding his GPS. He's probably sitting on a tree stump trying to
figure out where his treasure is.
The cache is 2"x.75"; it might be tricky to find. Don't climb
any fences.
