Mystery House Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Reviewer Revan: Cache Owner (CO) has not responded, so I am regretfully archiving this cache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking new cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace this cache sometime in the future (not to exceed 10 days from the date of this entry), just contact me (by e-mail), and assuming it still meets the current Guidelines, I will consider unarchiving this cache.

Please be advised this is not a guarantee that this geocache will be unarchived. Many factors will go into my decision. The most important of which is how you responded to geocachers who tried to communicate with you regarding the problem(s) with this geocache hide and how you communicated with me, the Reviewer Revan.

Geocache Description:

A short hike up a dirt trail in Dunlop Park in an ammo box.

You can approach this cache from at least 2 different trails. Either trail should lead you past the mystery house, the cache is further along the path. No one knows the history behind this site. Kids will love poking around this old house and the cache has some kid friendly items as well as some items for 4 footed cachers

3/7/06: I have noticed a lot of people do not find the "house" for which this cache is named. I originally wanted to place the cache in the house but it was too close to another cache but I thought that since the most obvious trails led right past the house everyone would find it anyway. Well, leave it to geocachers to find alternate routes. Here are the coordinates to the house:
32 46.511 097 07.715 I will leave them in the cache when I get a chance.
