On high ground of park, as a crows nest is a high perch aboard ship.
In pine barrens, above Lake Roland.
The easiest level route is Copperhill road off Falls road. Park on North side of Racquet road between Princeton Sports and the Home and Hospital Center. Then enjoy a pleasant 3/10 mile walk on Copperhill road until it becomes private. Here, follow an open trail that enters the pine barrens, and go 40 yards past a prominent stone. From there , on the left is a path cleared of most thorns the rest of the way..
