Ode to Homeschool

We wouldn't be able to spend as much time on this new-found hobby as we do if we weren't homeschooling. It's been a great incentive for our son to finish up the school work so we can play. Since we were introduced to Geocaching by another homeschool family, this is our Ode to Homeschool.

There are 3 caches involved in this multi-cache. All are in locations where we hang out with our "homies" so this is a trek all around town. These have been approved by the Peoria Parks District, The Riverplex and The City of Peoria.

Please bring paper, along with a pen or pencil, to write down the needed coordinates.

• The Ode to Homeschool waypoint is the first cache. It is very small container...smaller than a micro. Inside, you'll find the coordinates for the second location. This is a terrific place for kids to ride their bikes.

• At the second location, park at N40' 41.528 W089' 35.002
  You are looking for a camouflaged Altoid container not far off the path.
  Nice park location with trails for biking or walking Fido.

• At the third location, park at N40' 42.265 W089' 37.370
  You are looking for a fairly large plastic container. It will require a very short but steep climb.
  Please cover up the container when you're done.
  This is another nice park and picnic location with tennis, baseball and volleyball facilities.
  There are also lots of other caches in walking distance...enjoy the day.
