An easy-to-find cache at Webster SWA. Easily accesible, you may find the footing a bit unstable near the cache so watch your step. The area can be muddy when the weather is bad and during the irrigation season. Expect a bunch of biting bugs during the summer.
Note: Effective January 1, 2006, a Habitat Stamp is required for all Colorado State public lands. You can buy one anywhere that hunting licenses are sold for $5.

Whether you want to shake off the winter duldrums or to go out and play with your new GPS, you'll find the Webster cache exactly what you need!
The Webster SWA is a small wildlife management area, surrounded by private land. Sorry, there's no river access from the area. There is a map posted at the parking area which shows the boundries.
You may find the entrance to the area harder to find than the cache itself. We often come out here to give our dog a good run and to pick some of the fresh asparagus that is abundant in the springtime. There are many birds that call the area home, along with the occasional deer, and the chances of viewing a beautiful sunset are quite good. Pack a lunch or supper and enjoy.
You may encounter some bowhunters in Autumn and the area is leased for farming so expect irrigation activities to be going on during the growing season. The cache is in an open area so you'll need to be careful not to be seen.
You're looking for a cookie tin, long devoid of its original contents, with a log book, stash note, and a few goodies to get things going.
