An easy walk alongside a small manmade lake that is home to many waterfowl.
Park at 35 15.026, 82 43.722 and follow the path into the woods. At the first stage (coordinates listed for cache), you will see a large wooden sign. Count the number of screws along the top ridge of the sign, and use this number (#) to determine the coordinates of the final stage below:

# - 3 = b
# = c
# - 5 = d
# - 4 = e

Cache is just off a well-manicured, kid-friendly trail. Trail is public access but the lake and its facilities (docks etc.) are for residents only, so please be respectful and stay off private property. This is a popular area for walkers and their dogs, so be on muggle alert.
Cache is plastic box, approx. 7x10". Please click the lid on tightly!
We are NJ residents who love our regular trips to this beautiful area. Our NC relatives, who live nearby, will be caretakers of this cache between our visits.
