Geocache Description:

This is a NIGHT TIME ONLY cache! You cannot do it during the day!

After the nice response to our "Are You Afraid of the Dark" cache, we've decided to do it again, only MUCH longer, and HARDER! Also, this cache is NOT easily followed backwards, so mark a waypoint where you park!

This is a NIGHT TIME ONLY cache! The coordinates are to the start of the cache "trail". The "trail" is made up of reflective dots, which have been placed on bushes and trees, anywhere from 3' to 6' from the ground.

You will need a STRONG flashlight in order to do this cache. A 2 or 3 "D" cell Maglite is suggested. Or any good quality spotlight will work. Note that most "led" lites don't have a beam that is focused enough to work well with this cache technique.

To start off, find the coordinates location, and park there. Shine your light around you will see three reflective dots. This is the start of the trail. Stand by those dots, and shine your light around to see the next dot. Repeat. The trail is NOT in a straight line, but is easy to follow. If you can't find the next dot, look carefully. This cache isn't as easy as the first! The cache is approximately .20 miles from the coordinate location. You will see three reflective dots in a row, on the same branch. The cache is within 4' of that location. Please make sure to re-hide the cache well!

There is a brand new 9 LED Flashlightfor the FTF! Also in the cache are lots of other neat little "things".

General notes: Wear long pants and proper shoes, there are cactus and other pokey things at this location. Bring a backup flashlight also. It is darker than dark out there in the boonies! This would be a fun cache for older kids. Might be a good idea to mark a waypoint where you park, JUST in case....
