The caches site is significant because it is located at one of the few U.S. National Historic Register sites in the area. Take a look at the church and its architecture. Also, you'll enjoy an early pioneer graveyard next to the church. Here you will find the gravesite of Francis McCormick, the founder of Methodism in the Northwest Territory in the late 1700's and early 1800's.
