Our first Geocaching Event is scheduled for December 3rd, 2005 at Lakes Park in Ft Myers, Florida!

This event is in Honor of our Long Distance Geocaching Friend Jack Sparrow & Crew.

This event is possible in conjuction with LCPR, but please note there is a $3.00 per car parking fee.. N.E.E.M, & LCPR will not be responsible for any parking violations.

Come join the N.E.E.M. for a Pre-Christmas Event. The shelter is located near the playground, the train and the lake. There will be new caches placed in the park for the event, the N.E.E.M. will also be placing new caches thought out the Lee County area, the waypoint & coords will be given out the day of the event.

The N.E.E.M will be supplying the Meat, Drinks, Ice & Table Ware. Please bring a covered side dish or dessert (Please use the "WILL ATTEND" entry to let us know what you can bring whether it be a covered dish or dessert).

Individuals or teams that register will receive a personlized name tag (please note on your "Will Attend Log" the 1st Name of those attending from your group), a bag of goodies and a raffle ticket for our door prizes. Extra Raffle tickets may be purchased at the event.

The N.E.E.M will be plasting new smiley's all over Lee County for this special day. So here is your chance to meet Jack Sparrow & discuss the differences in geocaching here in the US and in Germany, eat free food, and get a bunch of new smileys. We can’t wait to see all of the familiar faces and look forward to meeting the new ones we have yet to meet. Hope to see you there.
