Set on the Northern Llangrannog coastal path, with excellent views across Cardigan bay.
Dogs allowed but must be kept on a lead due to sheep.
This cache can be tackled from two directions, one is from the foot path which starts on the beach in Llangrannog, and the second from the Urdd Camp/Ski slopes to the North of the village.
Both ways expect some hills.
The cache is NOT situated on the Island, if you intend to visit the island, check tide tables first as you could be stranded for a few hours.
This is a small cache so please only take small tokens to drop off.
Pendinas Lochtyn was once a Celtic Iron Age hill fort dating back to 85-420AD.
It was a kidney-shaped enclosure, defined by a single bank and ditch.
These forts were usualy in two parts, the upper purely for defence and the lower as a village, where the domestic animals were kept.
Now on top stands one of the MOD's observation posts that look out over Cardigan Bay.
