This cache is located in Elgin's Centennial Gardens. Convenient parking at the Library.
Elgin's Centennial Gardens were built in 1989 (also the year I graduated from Elgin High School by the way) as part of Elgin's Centennial Celebration.
The garden includes the sculpture "Prairie Fire" by area artist Herb Mignery.
Also, check out the collection of bells across the highway to the west.
