There once was a shelter with picnic tables here. With the coming of the interstate and rest stops people didn't need a place to pull off and picnic any more while traveling. The little patch of public access greenery remains with parking available. Please watch little ones as it's still close to roads and there is a sweet temptation across the road.
10/31/10 cache is now a 12oz screw top container that has been relocated...we'll change it out for something a little larger later..
