Camoed plastic jar located part way up an unnamed trail to a waterfall (when the stream is flowing) on the south slopes of the East Vail Valley.
The relatively short and somewhat steep and obscure dirt trail cuts off of the paved bike and hiking Gore Valley Trail, at N39 38.718 W106 19.268, leading up through a small meadow and then into aspen forest. The trail beyond the cache becomes steeper and if wet it can be slippery, rating at least 3-and-a-half stars, but provides a rewarding experience at the end. Reception will be very poor at the cache site, so look for the initials:
SD
BD
GD
ED
and a cleft in boulders on your left. You'll be within 10' to 15' of the cache at that point.
Terrain is rated three assuming you hike, not bike, in from the parking area.
Closest parking is near the East Vail exit/entrance ramps, at N39 38.592 W106 18.411.
