The multi-cache is not far from the River Otter, between the Villages of Harpford and Newton Poppleford in East Devon.
There is one micro cache, and a main cache. You must visit the first micro-cache to obtain coordinates to take you on the main cache.
The route takes you through commercial apple orchards, please respect the landowners wishes and keep to the footpaths, (there is no need to venture among the fruit trees to find the caches).
The closest parking to the micro cache is Newton Poppleford Playing Fields Car park, (coordinates: N 50° 42.197 W 003° 17.640).
From the car park turn left up the lane until you come to the sign for East Devon Way Path No.28, (coordinates N 50° 42.103 W 003° 17.873), where the 1st Micro is now hidden and you can pick up the path that will lead you through the apple orchards and on the the final cache location.
The route to the final cache takes you through a copse, and GPS signal is poor, if you're having trouble locating the cache, proceed to the area of coordinates N 50° 42.352 W 003° 17.662, where you will be able to get a good signal to help you locate the final cache.
This area is popular with dog owners, so take care not to be seen taking or replacing the micros and main cache.
Once you've found the cache you should be able to find a much shorter route back to the car park !!
