My family likes this park a lot. Generally, its hidden with only a
few neighborhood kids enjoying a very nice play structure, but
sometimes the place is hopping with barbeque parties, sloshball
games (kegball, for those of you from the midwest), and animated
basketball players. There's also a nice little area for exploring
and appreciating the local poison oak growth.
There should be no poison oak near the cache, but you might pass
some on the way there when you leave the trail. I left a new bottle
of Technu for the FTF, in case you need it.
Please respect the neighbors and this neighborhood and obey the
posted park hours -- open 6 am until 10pm. We want to have
geocaching thought of in the most positive light by all
authorities. Any logs posted after 8/22/06 that indicates the park
rules were broken will be deleted. Thanks.
Edit January 21, 2007: We have moved the cache from its
original hiding spot due to a repeat muggler (probably a
mini-muggler). Coords and hint are updated to reflect this new
spot. Please be very careful to rehide the cache with the natural
materials so that it cannot be seen from any angle, thanks.
