Geocache Description:

This cache will bring you to the Dot & Brooks Evert Memorial Trail, which provides an opportunity to walk onto the heart of an old swamp forest.

This site is stop number 53 on the Watchable Wildlife Trail system. This viewing site contains an ecotone; an area where two distinct biotic communities blend. As a result there are diverse plant & animal species in this floodplain forest.
