Geocache Description:

Many passing visitors don't know there's a lot more to Apalachicola than the Historic Downtown area. Most wouldn't know that the Apalachicola Northern Railroad even existed or that it has a long history in this area.

This cache was placed to bring you out to some lesser known parts of Apalachicola.

Have fun finding this one! If you have some time and want a wonderful view of the Apalachicola River where you can drive up to to the water and also see the train's bridge spanning the over the water, continue driving up the road and turn left where you see the blue Boat Ramp sign. Just follow the newly paved road to the end.
