Geocache Description:

Off the beaten path, this public land is a beautiful forest, with an easy trail.

The cache is a clear plastic container and is in a heavily forested area, so you may have to cross-coordinate your readings.

This is a beautiful State Forest with a well-maintained trail that leads down into a glade and then to an all-weather stream suitable for swimming, splashing, fishing. It also is home to a wide variety of wild flowers (mostly Spring) and medicinal herbs.

Feb 22, 2009: Replaced original cache that had disappeared. The area was recently hit hard by a severe ice storm that felled many of the trees.
