The Heidelberg Project was recognized as the third most visited tourist site in Detroit. With over 275,000 annual visitors from over 90 countries, artist Tyree Guyton's concept for urban revitalization is used as a teaching tool by universities all over the world.

Using vacant lots and abandoned houses as his canvas, Tyree Guyton has transformed an entire block into a world-famous outdoor art environment and a thought-provoking statement on the plight of inner city communities.

For further information, visit the Heidelberg Organization online at http://www.heidelberg.org/

If you see Tyree at the site, ask to see his collection of walking sticks, you'll want one for geocaching!
