The cache is located at the Organ Pipes on the Mt. Cargill Track.
This site can be approached from the Mt Cargill road, Bethunes Gulley or from Mt Cargill. The quickest is from the Mt. Cargill Road.
The cache is hidden among the pieces of the basalt columns which have broken off the main feature. These hexagonal columns date back to the last volcanic activity around Dunedin.
Beware when climbing over the rocks as they can move. It would be very dificult or impossible to retrieve a GPS dropped here.
As it is getting high altitude (528m) at this cache, please dress for the conditions.
The cache is a camo painted 1 litre snap lock hidden at ground level and visible from 2 metres if you are in the right position. It contains various trading items.
