The cache is now a micro cache a 70mm long green metal bison tube with a pencil and scroll.
When the 4x4 Outdoor Adventure club were going to the Kgalagadi the first thing I did was to see if there were any caches in the area we were visiting. Not one! I then decided to place the original cache and to make it easily accessible to all.
Because it’s a game reserve and there are strict rules on getting out of your vehicle the cache has been placed in a camping area. The photos will give you good clues as to where. Just make sure other campers don’t see you!
Small note on cache maintenance: The 4x4 Offroad Adventure club of which I am a member do travel into the area on a regular basis. The cache was placed on one such club trip. We also have a club member who is a tour operator in that area and he makes regular visits to the site where I placed the cache so the cache will be looked after.
