Multicache in Eastern Ontario.
This cache was set for “Go and Get ‘em 6”. Montreal cachers on their way to Ottawa could use this one to break up the monotony of the drive.
The cache is not at the posted coordinates, although they are in the neighbourhood of the cache location. They are mainly for reference, but do actually serve a useful purpose, which can be ascertained when you get close.
It has become quite impossible to maintain the whole original sequence of tags between Montreal and Ottawa. This cache is therefore now only findable through the "shortcut". You find the shortcut waypoint by solving a little puzzle in stone_soup's aptly named "Montreal to Ottawa Shortcut", GCNBE2
The cache is an ABS pipe, stashed in a winter friendly manner. Please use discretion; it is not far off the trail. If attempting this cache in colder temperatures, please bring along a tool to open the container. Channel locks, or a 12" spanner will work perfectly
The cache contains manifesto, log book, and a collection of trinkets.
