There is plenty of car parking space alongside the road on the outskirts of the village of Wylye at N51º 08.414 W001º 59.416
Alternatively you could park at the local pub, the Bell, in the heart of the village and partake of their hospitality.
The walk will take you from Wylye through to Fisherton De La Mere and back. This can be done in just over an hour, with a round trip of about 1.5 miles.
With no sign posts to mark it from the main A36, few people know of the existence of Fisterton but it’s well worth a visit; more of its history can be found at visit this webpage.
Please if there is livestock in the fields keep dogs under control, also please keep an eye on any children with you as the river may be deep and swift in places.
From the car you will walk alongside the river and under the A303 to the above co-ordinates, here you need to look for Cinders & Robin and specifically “in ABCD to mark EF years”.
From here you move on to the second stage at N51º 08.F(E+E)(A+D) W001º 59.(A+F)9F
At this point you need to find out how long Lily lived “GH” and on what date in September Ernest died “JK”?
You will now retrace you step back out of the gate and continue on to the cache which can be found at: N51º 08.FB(F+D) W00(H-G)º BC.41(J+K)
