Geocache Description:

Placed in commemoration of the 2nd Annual Cherry Blossom Festival. Stealth mode required at certain times.

Each March, Macon becomes a pink cotton-spun paradise of delight as over 275,000 Yoshino cherry trees bloom in all their glory. The first festival was in 1983. The object at the cords was placed on occasion of the second year of the festival. Smell the blossoms and enjoy the park. No room for pen/pencil. BYOP.
