This cache has the usual assortment of swaps, however the swap
Snuva is most interested in is your tails of people you have met
while travelling.
this cache is named after a guy and his schnauzer - 'Me &
Mo' - who Snuva shared brunch with on a recent caching trip. We
were travelling through Derwent Bridge on our way west and were
filling up with petrol. We hadn't intended to stop, however the
cafe attatched to the petrol station had what looked like a real
coffee maching and staff who looked like they knew how to use it.
So we stopped and got some brekkie. It was a hot sunny morning and
most outside tables were full, but the schnauzer at one table spied
Snuva and offered to share his people's table. He was travelling
with Me (forget his name - but 'Me & Mo' is what it said on his
camper trailer!) for a year or two around Australia. They were
headed east, so our paths just crossed briefly, however they were
memorably lovely.
This cache shouldn't be difficult to find - in just the sort of
spot a geocacher would hide it - on purpose as the posted signs say
not to wander from the paths. No signs restricting canine access,
and your dog DEFINATELY wants to run here! Park at S41 16.911, E148
21.409. And you'll see where the Bay of Fires gets its name from. .
.although you should visit it too. Have a wander around on the
various paths and roads in the area - a great place to explore.
When in Australia, do as the Australian's do!
