Follow the coordinates above to a great buffet meal, lectures, door prizes, Travel Bug swap, and mainly talk about what we love, GEOCACHING!!!!
It will officially get underway at 7:30pm on Friday evening, April 1st, 2005. We’ll start by eating and move into some of the activities for the evening.
Blindreff has been kind enough to discuss the proper way to use a compass and hopefully tell us how he got so sneaky. If you have completed Cabarrus Black Boys or Treasure and Scavenger Hunt you know what I mean.
We’ll also have some door prizes, ammo cans, micro containers, Travel Bugs, Geocoins, etc. If you want to bring something to add to the door prizes please do so.
Also we will have a Travel Bug swap so start picking up and logging Travel Bugs and Geocoins now. Please have available the mission or goal of each travel bug at the event.
We’ll also include some special awards for various categories as well, longest distance, most caches, least caches, etc.
Start planning now to attend and if you can come up early to do some caching there are at least 45 caches within a 15 mile radius with some real challenges in the mix as well as some quick grab and go caches.
Please RSVP so we can give the fine folks at the restaurant an estimate of how many to expect. Even if you don’t RSVP you’re welcome to attend, we’ll make room for you.
