Geocache Description:

A camo taped 4" tall x 3" round containter along an abandoned trail in Stevens Creek Park. Some bushwacking required and a nose for following old trails.

Best approach to this cache is from the Villa Maria picnic area. Cross the old abandoned orchard to the south of the parking lot and follow your GPSr from there. Couple of choices, but the right one is the most obvious one.

Found this trail after coming down from hiding Lone Pine Overlook. Thought I could follow it through the orchard and hook up with the Tony Look Trail, but no go. Seemed like a great spot for a cache though. You will need to work just a little bit to get this one.

Signal will be very spotty at times because of the trees, but the signal at the cache was solid. A photo of the cache site is included to help you get the general spot, but you still will need to look a bit. No need to take more than one step off the trail.

Watch out for the poison oak. None spotted when I hid the cache, but suspect it could appear when the weather warms. Let me know if it does and I will relocate the cache as needed.
