Geocache Description:

This cache is placed in honor of the most excellent multi Dierkes Delirium. The spot is one of the highlights of that cache and one of my new favorite areas.

This cache is my Betcha! challenge. It’s a theme cache of games and puzzles. The trade isn’t required but if you’re going to take a game or puzzle, please leave one, otherwise feel free to sign the log book and post your adventures here.

The arch is less than fifty feet from the actual cache. The best way to approach the area is to park in the Dierkes Lake parking lot and just follow the pointer. If you go through the arch, there is no climbing required. There is some scrambling over rocks no matter which direction you go, thus the high terrain rating. Long pants are highly recommended. There could be snakes but I’ve never seen one there. The cache is an ammo can hidden in a perfectly natural and easy to see U.R.P. Try and replace it that way.

During the summer there is a $3 fee to drive in the park and lake area; however, there are a lot of great caches in the area and a ton of amazing view for one low price.

Be safe and have fun!
