One person who found the cache sent me this note. I thought I should post it as a warning
The well that Redman2 was refering to was about midway
between the cache and the main road. if I remember
correctly it was at the base of a small Cherry. I
would say it was about 20" Dia.
The only thing tricky about this cache is that I have tried to leave very little visual clues. I tried to make the hiding place look natural. The hike itself is just a good aerobic walk in the woods. A 50 cal ammo box holds the items. The trail head is at the end of Geiger Hollow. (trail head coordinates are N42.02.054 W078.30.501) The cache is a little more than 1 mile away from the trail head and can be reached by path except for the last 100 feet or so. You will pass several abandoned oil rigs and various equipment along the way. The cache is well hidden but the area itself is not too thick and is relatively easy to get around in.
