The first cache placed at this park was on a miserable, rainy,
cloudy Labor Day weekend day. When you get to the location of this
cache, imagine how it would be if everything was wet. If you get
better coords than what we have posted, please let us know. The day
the 12/20/04 coords were taken was a clear blue skies day, but the
"edge" mentioned in the cache name MIGHT cause your GPSr to bounce
around and take you to the water's edge. If you are in an area with
debris, you're not in the right place. We relocated the cache so
next time this creek swells as much as it does when it rains, the
cache will hopefully not be swept away again.
It's a bit hard to rate this one on terrain considering how much
fun it was to land on the rump while placing this cache. That
feeling of wet clothes, mud on the legs, and random twigs in the
hair tends to skew ones perspective...
Considering the size of this park, having only ONE whole cache
in it just seemed a real shame, so it was time for a crime wave by
PartnersInCrime. The container is your average, medium-sized, and
camo'd container. Small and medium-sized TBs should fit in there.
The new container is a bit larger than the one which held the
"original contents" listed below. Make sure you hear a loud snap
when closing the container! Otherwise it isn't closed
properly.
Original cache contents were:
- Yo-yo
- Raphael figurine from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
- 2 plastic bubbles makers
- Mardi Gras TB
