Seven miles from Utah Hwy. 191 north of Moab, this popular bike route crosses desert washes, climbs through a scenic canyon, follows dinosaur tracks up a large expanse of slickrock, and passes an historic mining site enroute to the Klondike Bluffs and the western boundary of Arches National Park. All or any part of the route can be hiked, biked, or driven with high-clearance 4X4 or ATV.
The cache container is a length of 2" PVC pipe containing logbook and pencil, the usual supply of miscellaneous trinkets, and a GeoToken. The terrain is rated a 4 due to length, difficulty, and poorly marked trails. But it's a really fun trip. You might even pass by another GeoCache or two on your way, depending on your route. Not recommended in wet weather.
