Just a short walk across the desert.
Tired of the day-to-day rut you are stuck in. Well, now there is a geocache where you can get away from it all. It is full of travel brochures that I have picked up on my travels. And, since my job is like it is, I can always refill it!!
I have started with about 50 locations around the country. Now, here are the rules. Everyone in your group who can understand the word brochure, needs to take one. Even if you are caching as a group, everyone should take a brochure.
Now, the fun part starts. Your log should include a description of the fun you are going to have (in your mind) while visiting this location. Take a fun-looking brochure, go home, think about it, and when you start to smile, log on and tell me about your trip. Keep the brochure. Since there is no money is involved, you can travel first class and stay at the best hotels!!! You can go to the mountains and your wife can go to the beach. Is this great or what???The container is a small Tupperware type box with a log book, pencile, and only a little room for travel bugs. Remember, this is a cache where you only take things and leave nothing. The first finders prize is a two dollar bill. There is also a Holy Coins Travel Bug.Here is a sample of what the cache will start with:
Whale watching in California
Mount Vernon in Virginia
The Crayola factory in Pennsylvania
The UFO museum in New Mexico
Disneyland (of course)
The Mendocino Chocolate Company (no, there are no samples)
Kings Dominion in Virginia
Atlantic City in New Jersey
Mount Rainer in Washington
The North Pole
Chena Hot Springs in Alaska
