This is a multi cache that will take you to two different parks. The first park is especially nice in spring and summer when the well maintained gardens are in bloom. The second park is a short drive away to the trail head.
The posted coordinates are for a sign near the parking lot in the first park. There is a list of rules on the sign, match the rule numbers to for the final location.
A. Pets Welcome. Owners responsible for clean-up.
B. Visitors agree to comply with town ordinances
C. Open dawn to dusk.
D. No open fires without special permit
E. The park is for all to enjoy. Please respect others and park property.
Final coordinates for the cache: N 42° 5A.BBC, W071°1D.DEC
Parking coordinates for the trailhead:
N 42° 54.663, W071°13.152
Stay on the main trail; don't turn right until you reach the pond. The cache is less than 100 feet from the trail. The cache is a small ammo box. I hope you enjoy this cache and look forward to reading your comments.
The bright orange blazes mark a trail that encircles the pond. This can be a very nice walk after finding the cache. I have seen deer, beaver, heron, assorted birds, and lots of frogs in the area.
This is a relatively quick multi cache.
4/29/06: The format of this cache has changed, the woods where the final is located is filling up with other caches. I have changed the format and included parking coordinates for the trailhead to the final, so cachers will know they can get other caches while in this area.
