The cache gets it's name from characters in the 1950's BBC
childrens series the 'Flower Pot Men' There is a pub nearby called
The Flower Pot You can read about Bill and Ben here
http://www.sterlingtimes.co.uk/bill_ben_story.htm
The Flower Pot has an interesting display of fishing memerobilia
and the place is worthy of a visit after you've found the cache (or
perhaps even before). If you are there around dusk the Peahens in
the garden are interesting to watch as they fly up to roost in the
trees in the garden. There is a footpath sign just past the pub on
the right hand side of the road, it's easy to miss. It's an easy
walk to the cache site, along public footpaths and certainly
suitable for push chairs if you get the correct path. The cache is
a 1.5 litre Plastic container and when left it contained Can of
soft drink Candles Ruler Crayons Water pistol, no water supplied
(unless the cache gets flooded) Please ensure you leave the cache
covered exactly as you found it. Also make sure you are not
observed (from the river?) replacing the cache, I checked in early
July and found the cache container lying on the ground, could only
have been removed by someone and I'm sure it wasn't a geocacher
Enjoy my first cache Details of the house can be found here
