Parking is located off of Escoheag Hill Road at N 41 35.200', W
71 45.356'. This is a nice walk through a glacial ledge area in the
Arcadia Management Area. This is on the Escoheag Trail and more
info can be found in Walks and Rambles in Rhode Island. You will
see near the beginning of the trail the remnants of some buildings
that were the Ledges Picnic Area. This is a beautiful walk any time
of the year but is especially nice when the mountain laurel are in
bloom.
My son put together the contents of this cache, so it is
initially stocked with mostly toys. This cache is in an ammo box.
During hunting season 200 square inches of dayglo orange is
required and dogs are required to be leashed.
This hike is just over half a mile each way. I have stored a
route
file (.loc)for this cache if you are interested. Have Fun!
