Black Hills TB Depot Traditional Cache
TH&G: My local family that I have been visiting in the area for the past 22 years has passed on or just recently move to an assisted living center. Time to let this one go. I will pick it up this weekend.

A Travel Bug Depot for the Black Hills of South Dakota.
This depot was placed as an exchange of travel bugs only for the many cachers passing through the Black Hills of South Dakota. If you come to take a travel bug, please leave one also. The Rule is placed so everyone has a chance to pick up a fresh new travel bug for them as they are leaving one behind. The cache is a plastic container with a screw top lid. Please cover - rehide as found. We have experienced these type of travel bug caches in our trips across the west, and we thought to place one near our second home to help pass along the travel bugs that we pick up on our caching trips. Initially I wanted a quick on and off cache off I-90, but there was just too much traffic, people, and homes around so we headed up into the hills some. The cache is off I-90 at the new Peaceful Pines Road Exit (52). Then continue west into the hills.
Name change - same cache August 5th 2005. This is the only active cache we have left in South Dakota so we gave it an original name. It is the only cache we will keep in SD.
