Dit stukje natuur heeft in de laatste loop van jaren een geweldige afbraakmoeten doorstaan.
Zo heeft dit stuk bos de opmars van industrie en woningbouwmoeten toelaten.......tot zover ...en niet meer. De gemeente heeft plannen gehad om dit laatste stukje ook te onderwerpen aan uitbundige industriecomplexen. Maar heftige discussies en protesten hebben tot nu toe de plannen kunnen doen stoppen.
Dit stukje groen heeft al heel wat in het verleden moeten incasseren. Zo heeft er een geruim aantal jaren een circuit gelegen van verhitte motorcross gevechten. Ook zijn hier diverse malen wieler cyclecross wedstrijden gehouden. Op de rechte weg die u aflegde voordat u het bos inreed zijn enkele malen dragster races gehouden. Ik als cache legger heb hier vele uren van mijn jeugd versleten. Hele veldslagen hebben we hier beleefd, een enkele keer was dit het toneel van ontbloeiende liefdestaferelen.
Met deze cache hoop ik meerdere mensen toch nog een gevoel van avontuur in dit woeste maar niet onaardige bos te kunnen brengen.

This part of nature has endured in the last course of years a tremendous demolition.
This piece of the woods has resisted the advance of industry and house-construction .......till here...and no further. The municipality also planned to ruin this last part for a enormous industry complex. Only vehement discussions and protests have until now closed the plans.
This small part of green had to endure enough in the past. For a considerable number of years a circuit has lain here for heated motorcross fights. Also here various times biker cyclocross competitions have been held. On the straight way that you took off before you drove into the woods a few drag races where held. I as a cacheplacer have made here a lot of hours of my youth worn out. We experienced whole battlescenes, it was also a love theater for one occasion. With this cache, I hope several people really get a feeling of adventure in this fierce unkind piece of the woods.

In februari 2014 heeft de gemeente het gehele bos behandeld.
Er zou eventueel nog een kleine tolerantie in meters kunnen zitten, als dit te groot blijkt te zijn herzie ik het...laat het dan weten.
Een makkelijke opdracht valt hier te doen, u krijgt alle coordinaten.....en bij elke coordinaat moeten een paar cijfers gevonden worden die bijdragen aan de eindplaats.
