The coordinates will take you to a warning sign near the park’s entrance… and close to the steps leading to Orange Grove Sink. The sign warns against diving the local caves without proper cave diving training. North Florida is world-famous for its underwater caves and this park is a favorite spot that features several popular “swims.”To find the actual cache do this:
Add the number of divers mentioned on the sign to this: N30°07.361'
Subtract the year mentioned on the sign to this: W83°10.004'
This will take you across the park… have fun and don’t dive in caves without proper training!
**While not a themed cache, it would be great if you would drop off a signed line arrow in the cache container… don’t know what a line arrow is? It’s a small plastic do-hicky used to point to in the direction of the cave’s exit… you can pick one up for a couple of bucks at N30°07.334' / W83°09.948' or at N30°07.151' / W83°10.166'.
