Please be respectful, as
with all cemeteries, there's much history recorded on the various
tombstones as well as historical
markers/monuments.
One
belonging to a prominent businessman, Silas A. Pulse, built the
local
Pulse Opera House in 1884
and still in operation today (Silas Pulse Headstone just a few
feet East of cache location) (he is also the grandson of Samuel
Jones, founder of the town of Warren, Indiana - Jones family
monument and plot on the next drive North of cache location).
Another political citizen, George W. Rauch (1876–1940), born near
Warren, Indiana was a Democratic
U.S. Representative 11th District, 1907-17 (headstone found NW
of cache location)
---------- But, Rip Van Winkle was not found
here.
We also believe it contains some of the
finest
and colossal pine trees in the State of
Indiana!
