Son of Challenger Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

firennice: I went out, and replaced it, and saw somone steal it as I walked away. This is way different than the original placed years ago. It had been in a tree near the ball diamond. Well the ball diamond is now a building, and well, I guess it is time. I was hoping to redo it, but it is not meant to be.

Geocache Description:

Son of Challenger.

Oringinal Note from 2004: This shoud be an easy-to-get-to, tough to find microcache. You may want to BYOP (bring your own pencil/pen).

I adopted this cache recently and was reviewing some of the different caches. Other then:
GC789D "Passages" (MacGyver Cache #104) on the island in east bay, and GCF459 The Niche Cache in Rock Canyon park this looks to be the oldest cache in Provo.

This used to be unique, and different. I will see if i can get the materials to recreate one of the old cache containers that was used to hide this. But until then enjoy your little bit of caching history.

Update 5/10/12: The tree was dug up and moved aside while construction is going on. I wonder if the cache is still int the tree. However at this point it is still unreachable. So I moved this to a nearby tree. A small container painted green.

Update 2016, the new cache turned up missing and I forgot the cache. However with construction done, I moved it back to the area where the original cache was and it is ready for finding.
