Brain Food is a two stage cache that is appropriate for the whole
family. The first waypoint and clue can be obtained from inside a
vehicle (I'd still recommend that you stop to be certain of the
numbers!) and the final waypoint is air conditioned in the summer
and heated in the winter!
Please observe the following hours when searching for the
cache:
Sunday 12PM-5PM
Monday-Tuesday 10AM-8PM
Wednesday-Saturday 10AM-6PM
To begin your search, travel to the first waypoint and note the
number (near the ground) on the large sign. We'll call this clue
AAA. Here's where it gets tricky;
AAA will be used twice! It will
help lead us to the second waypoint and locate the precise
location of the cache at the second waypoint.
Time for a little math!
789 - AAA = BBB
AAA + 207 = CCC
The second waypoint is located at:
N 45 30.BBB W 122 25.CCC
Once you arrive at the second waypoint you'll find yourself
standing in front of a set of doors. The time has come to do the
unthinkable and turn off the GPS! It's ok, you won't need it and it
doesn't work indoors anyway!
Let's use the second clue to determine the precise location
of the cache:
AAA + 55.85 =

The people who work here are well aware of the cache and if you ask
nicely, they'll furnish you with an additional clue that might save
you a great deal of searching! The cache space is VERY limited.
Please sign the log but don't leave trade items, and be sure to be
discreet when finding and replacing the cache!
On a side note, this cache was changed on 11/20/2006. It used to
have THREE waypoints and more challenging mathematics (I was
suprised that some people didn't know that an asterisk was the
mathematical symbol for multiplication) but recent construction has
eliminated one of the waypoints.
