Top of a slope of rocks kids love to climb on them.
You can either take main trail in park until the last 500ft then climb, climb, climb! Not to hard of a climb I once had friend who was pregnant do it.
Or if you are concerned about the trail closure in the wash you can approach it from the trail above it. I have hiked out here for years and never had a problem with any plants being disturbed. But if this concerns you the high road is for you. Otherwise enjoy.
This entire park has a reputation for rattlers in the warmer months, be especially carefull anywhere out here in the early spring.
