Geocache Description:

Located in the Chuluota Wilderness area in southeast Seminole County

This is one of 3 micro caches that can be logged alone, but are a part of Mother Nature's cache, located in the same general area.

The walking trails are children and pet friendly and there is very little bushwhacking (can be done in shorts with no problem). This is a micro so please BYOP.

While you're in the area, don't forget to do Toys, Toys, Toys, and Over the Fields Again (2 of the other caches in this beautiful wilderness area).

The Chuluota Wilderness Area (CWA) is a 625 acre propterty located in the southeast corner of Seminole County. This site's remote location and variety of native plant communities make it an excellent destination for hiking, bird watching and wildlife study. As you enjoy the natural surroundings, keep your eyes open for some of the resident wildlife, such as white-tailed deer, gopher tortoise, cottontail, snakes, and squirrel. The trail system at CWA consists of two main loop trails (east and west) that are marked with red blazes and unmarked trails that can be used as short cuts or additional areas for exploration. The west loop, located closest to the entrance, traverses high xeric habitats such as sand pine scrub and xeric oak scrub and is approximately 2.6 miles round-trip.

Please remember all plants and animals are protected and no hunting, collection or harassment of any wildlife is permitted. No motorized vehicles are allowed. Keep pets on a leash at all times, pack out any trash/pet waste and be courteous to other visitors. Please abide by these policies so we can continue to enjoy these natural areas. Enjoy your visit!
