Animal, Vegetable or Mineral? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

maccamob: After 8½ years, it seems this cache is no longer in place. [:(] We're unable to replace it, so sadly have to let it go. Thanks to all who found it over the years, to Riblit for keeping an eye on it for us and to Lowebro for confirming its demise.

Geocache Description:

Do you remember the childhood game where one person thinks of an object and the others have to ask this question as the start of identifying the object? There are elements of each of these categories in the area around maccamob's one hundred and fourth cache.

The cache is in a lovely area that reflects Sydney past, present and future. Picture the earliest aboriginals, the convicts and tortured souls who arrived later, the present inhabitants and accompanying urban sprawl. Watch the regularly-passing river traffic and then consider the development trends in the environment, population and transport that point towards the future.

Inspired by an idea of embi, and applied with his blessing, this is a log-only cache and you will need to BYO pen. The cache is in full view but well camouflaged; can you spot it? You may also need an implement to help extract the log sheet from the container. As usual, please replace the cache exactly where you found it - X marks the spot. For the enjoyment of future finders, please do not give away any hints in your log, no matter how vague.

There is another cache in this area too, for those who haven't tried it yet. Its owner has been consulted about this placement and has also agreed to monitor this cache in our absence.
