You can get to this spot by vehicle, but make sure you take a good 4WD vehicle. This cache may be difficult to get to during spring run-off.
Located in western part of Waiparous Creek area northwest of Calgary, this picturesque location is easy to get to if you have the use of a good 4WD vehicle.
You can get there two ways. Take Ghost River road west toward the National park border and double back (east) along the Ghost River. Or, if you are more adventurous, follow the Ghost River valley west to the spot. The latter route will involve numerous deep water crossings even in the fall when the river is quite low. It is probably not a great idea to take this route in the spring as the river crossings may be just a bit too deep.
